Criminal Law
Nearly 40 years ago, I took a chance on myself to pursue law school while raising two toddlers. I didn’t get the typical law school experience with two young children, but what I did get were two small reminders why I wanted to practice criminal law: to be a fervent guardian of my childrens’ and every Americans’ rights and liberties under the Constitution.
Today, I zealously defend people accused of committing crimes. My services include everything from arrest through appeal, explaining every step of the legal process.
I have authored published works, penned articles, lectured, and taught on nearly every aspect of criminal law, procedure and practice. I have practiced in State and Federal Court. I was the first, and as yet, the only woman to be elected President of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association.
I have been defending people accused of committing crimes in the State and Federal Courts for over 36 years, handling every type of Criminal case, including serious, complex, and high profile trials. I have handled Homicides, Sex Crimes, Guns, Drugs, Conspiracies, Robberies, Assaults, Frauds, etc.
